One of this year’s speakers was Saranya Wyles, MD, PhD, and assistant professor of dermatology, pharmacology, and regenerative medicine at the Mayo Clinic, who explored the root causes of skin aging and what treatments of the future will look like.

Wyles referenced a study completed by the Mayo Clinic where subjects applied 3 topical products for 6 weeks: a gentle cleanser, an exosome product, and then a sunscreen.
The study participants showed significant improvement in redness and vasculature.
Dermatologist Janine Hopkins, MD, who presented on the CuraCator device, also sees a big future for exosome treatments for wound healing and anti-aging.
